As court
officials, we are especially aware that the courthouse and the work that goes on there are
central to ensuring a just society. Court facilities are also ~an important symbol of the
integrity of our local justice system. Iwhole-heartedly support our ongoing effort to work
with. the county commissioners in improving our facilities in a way that will enhance the
court's mission.
Indeed, my office as Senior Resident Superior Court Judge as well as my personal
commitment to facility improvement requires that I not delegate my responsibility. I
intend to continue to work with you, the Commissioners, and other county officials in the
plan and design of facility improvements. I am confident that our cooperative effort will
result in the improvements that will benefit both the public and~the staff'
I agree that we need to present a unified effort and work on this project together.
WB/mhr
Sincerely,
ade Barber
cc: .The Hon.
