Outpatient Services: Individual, couple, family and group <br />counseling with people having a wide variety of problems <br />in living, such as marriage, work, alcohol, drugs and <br />depressions and anxieties. <br />Z. Consultation and Education: Primarily with schools, but <br />also Public Health Nurses, Social Service personnel, <br />physicians, ministers and the courts. Goal: to educate <br />others to be better providers 6f mental health Care and <br />detection, thereby preventing the rise of full blown <br />emotional disorders. <br />3. Emergency Services: Dealing with significant and immediate <br />crises in peeple's lives. Available by walking in to the <br />clinic during office hours or by contacting in person or by <br />phone the psychiatrist Dn call at North Carolina Memorial <br />Hospital (Chapel Hill). <br />4. inpatient Services: Referral to John Umatead Hospital, <br />Alcohol Rehabilitation Center (ARC) or the Mental Health <br />Center's gix beds at Nvrth Carolina Memorial Hospital. <br />Coordination and planning with these facilities in regard <br />to patient care. <br />5. Partial Hospitalization: Day program in the Center's Day <br />Hospital in Chapel Hill for patients tlho do not require <br />full time hospitalization. <br />6. Schocl Consultation Service: Specialized personnel to <br />consult with schools and offer direct service to children <br />and parents. <br />7. Alcoholism Services: Treatment for problem drinkers and <br />their families.
