<br />There being no further business to come before the Board of Equalization and
<br />Review the meeting was adjourned,
<br />Chairman Trlalker then re-convened the meeting as a Board of County Commissioners.
<br />Upvn motion of Commissioner Henry S, Walker, seconded by Commissioner Richard
<br />5, Whin ed, it was moved and adopted, that Mrs, Annie Strayhorn, T, Edmond Latta
<br />and Miranda McPherson be appointed as members to the County Council qn the Aging.
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Henry "~. Walker, seconded by Commissioner
<br />C, Norman Walker, it was moved and adopted, that Bonnie Davis, Watts Hi11 and,
<br />Carl Smith, be appointed as members to the Hospital Planning Council.
<br />Upon motion of Commissioner Richard E. Whitted, seconded by Commissioner
<br />Flora Garrett, it was moved and adopted, that the Board authgrize Chairman
<br />Walker to accept, on behalf of the County, a Federal Grant of $21,357 to be
<br />augmented with local .funds of $7,119 which, combined will provide a budget of
<br />$28,!}76 to fund the County Council on the Aging,
<br />There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting waa
<br />adjourned.
