At the June 12, 2007 meeting, staff received authorization from the <br /> BOCC to commence the following: <br /> 1) Draft various amendments to the Land Use Element to establish support <br /> and/or consistency for the program within the Comprehensive Plan; <br /> 2) Draft amendments to the Zoning Ordinance to: <br /> a. Establish a list of permitted uses for the program including <br /> appropriate application and review processes, <br /> b. Establish implementation guidelines, <br /> c. Establish clear performance standards, and • <br /> d. - Develop the conditional district zoning review process, for review <br /> • and comment by the BOCC and Planning Board, <br /> 3) Create the ASE Manual for review and comment by BOCCI Planning <br /> Board, and other County advisory bodies. <br /> • <br /> Since the June 12, 2007 meeting staff has completed the following: <br /> 1) Members of Economic Development, Planning, and ERCD meet with the <br /> County Attorney to review proposed performance standards for the ASE <br /> program and to develop the conditional district rezoning process. <br /> 2) Staff presented an overview of the ASE program concept to a joint meeting of <br /> the Agricultural Preservation Board and the Soil and Water District <br /> Commission Board. <br /> The consensus among Board members was that this program was an <br /> • <br /> important first step in allowing for a broader spectrum of land uses that <br />
