•
Z.7
•
PROCESS/TIMELINE
A major factor in the implementation of the Efland-Mebane.SAP is a decision on
the suggested changes to the Water and Sewer Management Planning and
Boundary Agreement. Staff recommends the BOCC work with the other
signatories to the Agreement to determine the feasibility of revising the
Agreement and, if feasible, initiating the steps to do so in a timely manner. Staff
recommends the topic be placed on the March 2009 Assembly of Governments
meeting agenda for feasibility discussion.
A major factor in the implementation of the Eno EDO Area SAP is the need for an
Interlocal Agreement with the City of Durham for water and sewer services. Staff
recommends the 80CC open formal discussions with City of Durham
representatives regarding this topic in a timely manner.
All three small area plans require adoption into the County's Comprehensive
Plan and revisions to the Land Use Bement Staff proposes to bring these
amendments to the May 2009 Quarterly Public Hearing, after Notification
Requirements have been clarified (see Attachment 4 for information pertaining to
this issue).
•
