Interlocal Agreement for Hillsborough Strategic Growth Plan - Phase II — Report <br /> from the Interlocal Agreement Committee <br /> The Town of Hillsborough/Orange County Strategic Growth Plan Phase II is also known as the <br /> Interlocal Agreement Initiative since its mission was to develop an agreement to promote <br /> coordinated planning. The Steering Committee was formed in the Spring of 2008 by both <br /> jurisdictions with elected official representation by Town Commissioner Eric Hallman and <br /> County Commissioner Barry Jacobs. The initial coordinated planning work began in 2004. <br /> Clarion Associates, the consultant on this project, will be at the meeting to walk through the <br /> process, outreach, outcomes and work products. Roger Waldon with Clarion Associates has <br /> provided the attached memorandum which includes a draft agreement, a map, and a summary <br /> of public information meetings. <br /> Staff will provide any other information at the meeting, and the Boards can discuss issues <br /> related to this project as necessary.
