County Commissioner-pending BOCC appointment(Vacancy to be filled) <br /> 2. Lori Ireland -appointed in December 2005-term expired December 2008. Ms. Ireland has indicated that she <br /> will not be available to continue serving on the OPC Board. No re-appointment requested. (Vacancy to be filled) <br /> 3. Dr. Lynn Ikenberry-appointed in April 2007-term expired December 2008. Dr. Ikenberry fills a mandated <br /> seat on the Board and he has expressed interest in continuing to serve. OPC management requests approval <br /> for a second term of office. (Reappointment) <br /> 4. Sandra Herring-original appointment in December 1999; reappointed December 2005,with a term which <br /> expired December 2008. Legislative was passed which speaks to appointments to mental health boards. Our <br /> Board by-laws reflect those requirements as follows: "Members shall not be appointed for more than two <br /> consecutive terms. Area Board members serving as of July 1, 2006 may remain on the Area Board for an <br /> additional term." Based on these guidelines Ms. Herring is eligible for an additional term on the OPC Board; <br /> she fills a mandated seat on the Board; and she has expressed interest in continuing to serve. OPC <br /> management requests approval for a second term of office. (Reappointment) <br /> 5. John Stewart-at-large appointment from Orange County. Original appointment in December 2002; last re- <br /> appointment March 2007 through December 2010. No action necessary by the Orange BOCC at this time. (No <br /> action) <br /> 6. Orange County has one vacancy on the area board which has not been filled in some time. (Vacancy <br /> to be filled) <br /> 2/9/2009 <br />
