These arnendment~s were processed as they had always seen done, interpreting the procedures outlined in the Zoning t~n:%inance. FU~U R.E ACTEOI~ Staff has developed revised language for the Zoning ardinartce, clearly articulating the processes far amending fhe Orange Gounty Comprehensive Plan ~Nhich differs from coning map ~:hanges. The new language will be concise, ensure r~pmpliartce with all statutory requirements, and eliminate atnlaiguities within the ordinance. Staffi anticipates presenting the revisions at the February 2009 Quarterly PuEslic Hearing.
