At the Jane 12, 2gQ7 meeting, staff received authorizatrort from the <br />130CC trr commence the foliowing: <br />1) El'raft various amendments to the k_and Use Element to establish support <br />andlar consistency far tha program within tha Comprehensive plan; <br />2j Draft amendments to the Zoning Crdar~ance to: <br />a. Establish a list of permitted usos for the pragrarn including <br />apprflpriate application and review processes, <br />b. Establish implementation guidelines, <br />c. Estat~lish clear performance standards, and <br />d_ - Develop t#~e conditional district zoning review process, #ot review <br />and earnmer~t by the BQCG and l'lanrting Board, <br />3~ Create the ASE Manual for review and comment by Q4CG, Planning <br />Board, and other County advisory bodies. <br />Since the ,dune 42.2007 meeting s#aif has completed the following: <br />1} Membors of Economic Development, Planttiing, anal EF~CD meat with the <br />County Attorrtay to rer+iew proposed performance standards for the ASE <br />program and t4 develop the conditional district rezoning process. <br />2j Staff presented art overview of the ASE prngrarrt caricept to a joint meeting of <br />the AgriculturaE Preservation 13oarr~ and the Soil and Water District <br />Commission Board. <br />The consensus atYtong Board members was that this program was are <br />important first step ire allowing for a taroader spectrum of land uses that <br />
