They are installed on IBM RISC hardware running the AIX operating <br /> system, with the Universe database and application environment. Information <br /> Technologies has expertise on staff that will be instrumental in converting data and other <br /> project support roles. <br /> The Planning/Inspections division has installed the Permits' Plus version 4.7.73 (vendor. <br /> Accela Inc.) application for the management of inspections data. It also has an interface <br /> with the legacy applications as well as the GIS system. <br /> The Information Technology/GIS Department has developed and currently supports a <br /> GIS system, based on ESRI software products. The legacy system is used to populate <br /> the attribute fields in GIS for all parcel data. The County also has the Master Orange <br /> Address Database (MOAD) application that is intended as the foundation for future <br /> address-related applications. MOAD is an Access 2000 database. <br /> The Register of Deeds office.has installed the AiLIS application (vendor: American <br /> Cadastre) for the storage and management of deeds information as well as vital records <br /> information. This application has an interface with the Land Records/GIS, Tax Assessor <br /> and Revenue Collection legacy applications. <br /> The County has implemented the Munis version 2004 (vendor. Munis, Inc.)financial and <br /> business systems software package. The Munis application also interfaces with the <br /> legacy applications. <br /> Project Goals and Objectives • <br /> This project will define and prioritize the requirements for an integrated, enterprise-wide <br /> Land Records and taxation application and business processes that meet the needs of <br /> all stakeholders. <br /> Primary Orange County stakeholders include: <br /> • Revenue Collections <br /> • Tax Assessor <br /> • Register of Deeds <br /> Sept 8,2008 -2- Orange County IT <br /> • <br />
