~~ 7 "^_ 491 6. Participate on the State Regions Advisory Committee In keeping with these responsibilities, the Lead Regional Organization will have the following prerogatives: 1. Any state funds which may be appropriated for general purpose regional planning will be administered through the designated Lead Regional Organization. 2. All multi-jurisdictional planning and programs within the region, unless exempted by state or federal law or policy, will be subject to policy direction Prom the designated Lead Regional-Organization. 3. Mush of the basic data gathering and analysis to undergrid eaa2s regional program will be provided by the State. Failure to perform the above tasks may result is the withdrawal or reassignment of the Lead Regional Organization designation. The above guidelines are recommended to the Searatary of the Department of Administration on this the 28th day of October, 1971, by his Advisory Committee on Regional Planning and Development. Norman Walker. i Members Abaetat; None i Chairman Bennett read a letter Prom the Orange County Planning Board advising the Commissioners that the Planning Board had voted to reject the request of E. 0. Hardee to rezpne a five.(5) acre treat Prom a residential area to a mobile home park area. Said property is located near Calvander. Commissioner Ira A. Ward raised a question relative to the language used by the Planning Board in their letter oP rejection of the rezoning request. The Chairman directed the County Administrator to check with the Planning Board relative to the wording of the letter and to advise the Board of his Findings at their neat meeting. The County Administrator presented a latter from the Area Real Estate Office oP the V. S, Army Corps. aP Engineers. Said letter concerned the removal of a aemstery located on the New Hope Lake project. Chairman Bennett dtreated the County Administrator to provide the District Health Office with a Dopy oP the letter.
