Gattis, Acting Clerk <br />MINU'PES OF THE ORANffE COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />July 24, 1972 <br />The Board of Commissioners of Orange County met in adjourned session <br />in the Diatriat Courtroom of the Courthouse in Hillsborough, North•Carolina <br />on Monday, July 2!}, 1972, at B P. M. <br />Members Present: Chairman Harvey D. Bennett, and Commissioners William <br />C. Ray, Henry S. Walker and Ira A. Ward. <br />Members Absent: Commissioner C. Norman Walker. <br />Chairman Sennett stated that this was the time and place for the public <br />hearing and read the following notice: <br />TO THE CITIZENS OF ORANGE COUNTY: <br />TAKE NOTICE that a petition hsa been Piled with the Board of - <br />Coranissionera of Orange County requesting the re-location of the <br />common boundary 13ne between the Orange County Rural Fire Department <br />District and the EPland Fire Departmeat District. Baid re-location <br />would add to the Efland Fire Department District and delete from <br />the Orange County Rural Fire Department District the following <br />described area: <br />BEGINNINf~ at a point where S.R. 1332 intersects with the Eno <br />River; thence with S.R. 1332 in a Northwesterly direction to <br />its intersection with S.R. 100!{.; thenoe with S.R. 1001. in a <br />Southerly direction to its interaeation with U. B. Highway 70; <br />thence with Highway 70 Weat to its interaeation with S.R. <br />1316; thenoe with B.R. 1316 in a Southerly direotion to its <br />intersection with B.R. 1377; thence with S.R. 1377 in a <br />Southerly direotion to its intersection with S.R. 11LFlF; <br />thence with S.R. 11!{1} in an easterly direction to a point where <br />said road crosses the Eno River; thence with the F?lo River in <br />a Northerly direotion to a point where it intersects with <br />B.R. 1332, the place and point of beginning. <br />A public hearing will be held on the petition in the Courtroom <br />of the Courthouse in Hillsborough, North Carolina, on Monday, <br />July 24, 1972, at 8:00 o~aloak p.m. <br />This the 6th day oP July, 1972. <br />RARVEY D.
