Hook 7 Page x.53 <br />F. 2t is the intent of the Service, the Station and the Commissioners <br />to fullfill obligations created by the terms of this Agreement. <br />However, commitments cannot be made beyond the period for which <br />funds have been appropriated, In event such funds are not <br />appropriated, the Agrbemen*, will be terminated. Reimbursement <br />will then be for work completed that is otherwise eligible for <br />reimbursement prior to the affective date of termination. <br />~- G. Ward, Chairman Bennett was authorized to sign the Cooperative Agreement <br />between the Agricultural Experiment Station, North Carolina State University, <br />Raleigh, North Carolina, and Svil Conservation, U, S, Department of Agricv].ture, <br />and County Commissioners, Orange County, i7orth Carolina, <br />Chairman Bennett advised the Board that the State Highway Commission planned <br />to prepare maps on the Estes Road and these maps would be presented to the <br />University of North Carolina for their approval at a meeting scheduled between <br />Mr. Eagles, I4r, T~delah and Chairman Sennett. <br />Tha County Administrator presented the followit~ list for the purpose <br />of releasing taxes: <br />1. Property of Mary Warren for the years 1955 through 1971 totaling <br />x116,52 in Hillsborough Tovmahip and property of Charlotte Warren <br />for the years 1955 through 1Q71 totaling $99.62 in Hillsborough <br />Township. This property is listed, mapped and taxes are paid under <br />the name of the Heirs of W, S, Marren. TV._is property listed in the <br />name of Charlotte and idary Warren does not exist. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Ira A, Ward, seconded by Commieaioner William <br />C. Ray, it was moved and adopted, that the County Administrator release the <br />taxes on the property of Mary and Charlotte Warren. <br />2, Property of W, H. Williams for the years 1955 through 1971 totaling <br />$3$.9$ in Cheeks Township. This property was conveyed in 1955 to <br />W, H, Breeze. It is listed, mapped and taxes are paid. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner William C. Ray, seconded by Commissioner <br />idorman Walker, it was moved and adopted, that the County Administrator release <br />the taxes on the property of W, Ix, Williams. <br />~i. Property of Curtis Austin for the years 1955 through 196!} totaling <br />X29,14 and property of ~:dalker Alston far the years 1960 through 1971, <br />totaling $134.92 in Cheeks Township. Walker Alston fa the heir of <br />Ciu~tia Austin. He conveyed this property many years ago to the Mt, <br />P2oriah Church. At present the church building ie located on this <br />property. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Norman Walker, seconded by Co~nissionar Ira <br />A, Tr(ard, it was moved and adopted, that the County Administrator release the <br />taxes on the property of Curtis Austin. <br />Commissioner William C, Ray was designated as the voting delegate at the <br />,TACO Tr(ashington Conference. <br />1 <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Ira A, Ward, seconded by Commissioner Norman <br />~dalkar, it was moved and adopted, that Ronald W. Mann be apnainted an alternate <br />member on the County Board of Adjustments to fill the unexpired term of Glenn <br />Whitfield. <br />
