<br />C. Ray, it was moved and adopted, that the 1972-73 estimated budget request of
<br />the Social Services Department be approved.

<br />ORDER
<br />Pursuant to Article 19, of Chapter 10$, of the General Statutes of
<br />North Carolina, and specifically pursuant to G. S, 105-317 (b)-(1>, the
<br />tax supervisor of Orange County has seen to it that there was developed
<br />and compiled uniform schedules of values, standards, and rules to be used
<br />in appraising real property in Orange County; that said un3.Porm schedules
<br />of values, standards, and rules were prepared by James R. Laird Co., Inc.,
<br />Appraisers and Consultants, Appleton, Visconsin, and are compiled in book
<br />form, entitled "Real Estate Appraisal Sianual, Orange County, Hillsborough,
<br />North Carolina", copywrited January 1, 1972, by James R, Laird and
<br />.~saociates, together with land value maps also prepared by James R,
<br />Laird Co., Inc. The schedules of values, standards, and rules have been
<br />reviewed and approved bq the Board of the County Commisaionera of Orange
<br />County:
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that said schedules of
<br />values, standards, and rules be and the same are hereby approved. It is
<br />further ordered and adjudged that the same are hereby adopted se the
<br />schedule of values, standards, and rule a, which shall be used in the
<br />general re-appraisal of real property, required by G.S. 105-286.
<br />It is further ordered that a copy of this order shall be published
<br />in the farm of a notice in The News of Orange County and in The Chabal Hill
<br />Week14. stating that the schedules, standards, and rules to be used in the
<br />next scheduled re-appraisal of real property in Orange County have been
<br />adapted and that they are open to examination by any property owner of this
<br />county at the Office of the Tax Supervisor for a period of ten days Prom the
<br />date of publication of said notice.
