<br />Discussion ensued and Commissioner Norman Walker requested that notion
<br />on the Resolution be deferred until the November meeting. The Board agreed to
<br />said request.
<br />Chairman Bennett brought to the attention of the Board that the Board needed
<br />to appoint the County Committee to plan the celebration and commsmoration of the
<br />Bicentennial of the American Revolution. The Board reviewed the list oP names
<br />which had been submitted by the various aivia organizations of the County.
<br />Upon motion of Commi.ssionar Ira A. 41ard, seconded by Commissioner Henry S.

<br />Chairman Bennett recognized Fred Cates, Mayor of the Town of Hillsborough.
<br />Mayor Cates stated that within the next Psw wea~ss the town would exercise its
<br />territorial authority to extend its zoning jurisdiction to the one mile limit.
<br />He stated Further that he Pelt the Town Board would request the Board of
<br />Commissioners to enact a zoning ordinance For the remainder oP Hillsborough Township.
<br />Discussion ensued relative to the providing of water and sewer meztiicea
<br />to the two industrial plants whioh were planning to locate Ssat of Hillsborough.
<br />IIpon motion oP Commissioner William C. Ray it was moved that water and
<br />sewerage facilities would be made available to the two industries by the County
<br />if an acceptable coat sharing agreement could be reached between the induatihies
<br />and the County. Chairman Bereaett netted far a note on the motion. Commissioners
<br />William C. Ray, Norman Walker and Henry Walker voted aye. Commissioner Ira A.
<br />Ward abstained Proia voting. Chairman Bennett then declared the motion passed. _
