a <br /> 3 <br /> The Servicing Agency agrees to provide radio based communication service 24 <br /> hours a day, 7 days a week to the Recipient Agency upon the terms established by <br /> this agreement. This service includes: <br /> A. Allowing the Recipient Agency to install a mobile base radio unit for the <br /> purpose of interagency communication in a location appointed and <br /> approved by Servicing Agency where access can be made by dispatchers <br /> without delay or obstruction. [Park Channel 1 —repeater(RX 159.420 <br /> with PL tone of 131.8 and TX 151.295 with PL tone of 131.8) and talk- <br /> around Channel 2 (RX 159.420 with PL tone of 131.8 and TX 159.420 <br /> with PL tone of 131.8)] <br /> B. Advising all dispatchers of the location of the radio unit; its intended use; <br /> the proper procedures for the use of the radio unit; and Eno River State <br /> Park staff contact information. <br /> C. Following contact of the Servicing Agency by the Recipient Agency by <br /> telecommunications or through the Orange County Fire Channel by <br /> approved Eno River State Park staff to request monitoring of the mobile <br /> base radio unit,the dispatcher will activate the mobile base radio unit as <br /> soon as practical with consideration to priority needs and respond as such <br /> by communicating acknowledgment by radio unit on Park Channel 1. <br /> D. Servicing Agency shall not, and is not required by this Agreement,to <br /> monitor or maintain the mobile base radio unit,unless contacted by Eno <br /> River State Park staff. <br /> E. Servicing Agency will provide communications and assistance necessary <br /> as outlined in the Purpose section of this Agreement from Orange County <br /> Communications: DCl/NCIC Service, EMS unit(s) dispatch request, <br /> Technical Rescue unit(s), Fire unit(s) dispatch request, Search and Rescue <br /> unit(s), Law Enforcement unit(s) dispatch request and HAZMAT unit(s) <br /> dispatch request. <br /> F. Servicing Agency will not make any adjustments, repairs, equipment <br /> modifications and/or channel additions and deletions to the base radio unit <br /> without submitting a written request to Recipient Agency and without <br /> receiving written approval by Recipient Agency for any such adjustments, <br /> repairs, etc.. <br /> G. Servicing Agency will follow all FCC guidelines regarding traffic <br /> transmitted on all channels on mobile base unit radio. If "10 Codes" must <br /> be abandoned due to discrepancy in the agency's assignments of codes (or <br /> any other reason), professional language will be used until confirmation is <br /> received from the Recipient Agency that the Recipient Agency has a <br /> secure radio unit. <br /> 3 <br />
