POLICY FOR INSERTION INTO THE POLICY MANUAL <br />• <br />MEETING DATE: January 22, 1991 <br />NUMBER• A:0480 <br />• <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: July 1, 1991 <br />POLICY• <br />REVISIONS• <br />_ ~ <br />March 15, 1994 <br />SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />1. The staff is instructed to compute the salary levels which <br />would have resulted had the County Commissioners received the same <br />annual cost-of-living adjustments received by other county staff <br />since the Commissioner's salary was last adjusted for board <br />members in 1984 and for the Chairman in 1983. <br />2. Adopt for the Vice-Chair a differenial of 5~ higher than the <br />amount computed for board members. <br />3. The resulting salary levels to be adopted for the current <br />board members, vice-chair and chairman effective July 1, 1991. <br />4. In addition, the Board of County Commissioners authorizes <br />that the same future cost-of-living adjustments be applied to <br />Commissioner's salaries as are applied to all other Orange County <br />personnel salaries unless instructed differently by the acting <br />board. <br />5. This policy superseded policy no. 310. <br />• <br />
