~~~~~ ~~ <br />~.' ~ y~o <br />• <br />• <br />C <br />POLICY FOR INSERTION INTO THE POLICY MANUAL <br />Meeting Date: Approved June 1, 1999 Policy Number: 481 <br />Effective Date: July 1, 1999 Revisions: <br />Policy: Commissioners Compensation Adjustment <br />The Board of County Commissioners authorizes that the compensation of County Commissioners <br />will be adjusted each year by the percentage amount equivalent to the In-Range Salary Increase <br />established for permanent Orange County employees in that fiscal year. <br />The compensation adjustment will be effective December 1 of each year. <br />The Board of Commissioners directs the preparation of the annual Budget Ordinance to include the <br />adjustment to the amount of compensation for the Board members described in this policy. <br />The Board of Commissioners adopts the Commissioners compensation amounts for the fiscal year <br />through adoption of the Budget Ordinance for that fiscal year. <br />
