Preliminary Plats approved by the Planning <br />Board prior to February 1 will not be subject <br />to the new provisions. This category only <br />includes the two preliminary plats scheduled <br />on the January 23 agenda (Laws Estate, Fox Run <br />Annex). It is anticipated that the Board of <br />Commissioners decision will be made on <br />February 6. <br />Pending Preliminary Plats <br />(No Planning Board Approval) <br />All grelitainary plats which have not received <br />Planning Board approval by February 1 will be <br />subject to the new plat specifications. One <br />preliminary plat application was received on <br />January 18 and another is expected by January <br />23. Both of these projects have received <br />sketch plan approval. <br />Final Blots (Major Subdivisions) <br />All Final Plats submitted after February 1 <br />which received Preliminary Plan approval prior <br />to February 1 would continue to be processed <br />under the current procedure and would be <br />approved by the Planning Hoard. <br />The Planning Staff recommends approval of the <br />proposed policy. <br />Best suggested that Staff notify nny <br />applicants who are is the Sketch Plan stage of <br />the new procedures that they must adhere to <br />for the preliminary .plat. Scearbo responded <br />that could be done by-letter. --- <br />MOTION: Hest moved approval as recommended by the <br />Planning Staff. Seconded by Eddlemaa. <br />Yuhasz questioned the logic in requiring that <br />final plans come back to the Planning-Board <br />for approval.. Scearbo responded that when the <br />new system is started there will be a new <br />format so that it will be very clear at the <br />time of prelinary plat approval everything <br />that needs to be done to submit a final plat <br />but also sverything that needs to be done to <br />record a final plat. In some cases, there are <br />some conditions that are required for <br />recordation of the final plat that are not <br />necessarily included in the preliminary plat <br />stage. <br />• <br />
